We are excited to finally launch our product, so to speak. The content on this website, which is still in its formative stages, has been created by student, for students! It is our intention to provide resources to improve both the academic experience and expand the support network for Chemistry students, whether that be in the lab, lecture theatre or beyond. This online resource will complement a series of ongoing events which you could easily find on our Facebook page (UoE Chemunity).
The main aims of Chemunity are to ensure that the student voice is heard by those whose job it is to listen, to promote and support positive mental health and wellbeing, and to enhance academic support for all.
Our website is a consant work in progress but for now you can find some useful resources, blog posts written by the members of our team, and examples of responses from chemistry students about what they want from their Chemunity. We hope you enjoy the website as it takes shape!
We welcome and encourage any further questions or suggestions about both the project and the website itself. You can find us on Twitter (@UoEChemunity), Instagram (UoE_chemunity), and Facebook (UoE Chemunity)!
Finally, a massive thank you for all of your support this far, as we look forward to breaking down barriers and forming new bonds.
All the best,
The UoE Chemunity team x
